Surviving Minnesota!

Just watched a youtube video. You’re right jerry there are too many nooks and crannies to a softener. They showed the guy disconnecting the inner tube of stuff attached to electrical bits and said that part needed to be stored warm and he left the brine tank with salt.
Yes I watched it also . So one more thing to move back and forth . One video showed how to blow out a RV softener . More thought needed . Never had a softener at the old cabin .

Well she says no or _ell no . She can get witchy if not content . She stays inside all winter anyway . Discretion says I should listen to her .
I understand... have you thought about buying a raffle ticket to move here???:lau

Thanks too @camboy77 I have an answer for everything Judy ever asks me “where, when, or how did you get that”...

I bought a raffle ticket and won..

Matter of fact I am thinking about buying a raffle ticket for a pair of pigeons...

Well maybe the water is fine there. On your spot. It's possible there's a nice spring fed vein of water there. You may have to check it out. ...or just be okay with the fixtures with their added metals, like Ralphie said. Or keep a small little furnace in the mechanical room plugged in...shut the door. Voila.
We actually do this here at work for an out building that needs to keep running water for horses. Pump room is enclosed, insulated and small electric furnace near the pump and water lines. Works like a charm. There is somebody up there every day though...making sure it's running. But it has not failed, in the years we've been doing this.

It's something along these lines. hey this one has a thermostat. So will shut off if it's an nice spring...until you get up here...sort of thing.

There is plenty of iron in the water at the lake . Here in IL. it is lime we have to deal with .

Your welcome I think. But the trick is to use that line sparingly or else she will catch on your wonderful wife is pretty smart person

For any of you with knee pain! Using a KT tape and taping like this will help so much, especially if you are like me and your knee cap tends to move further towards the inside of the knee. My knee has never felt so good at the end of the day in the last year. Granted I did have an ultrasound done yesterday and have been doing quad strengthening pilates but the KT made a heck of a difference

I feel for you...with that knee problem in another 50 years it’s going to really be a PITA.

She may be smarter than I gave her credit for.. I “bought” a raffle ticket today... when I showed it to her she said “this looks suspiciously like a scam of some kind”...

I have to wonder what could have occurrred in her life to make her so untrusting....
