Surviving Minnesota!

they don't respect fences too well anyway :lau
Really? I thought turkeys were smart. My Cayuga ducks stay inside my fence and they can easily get out if they want to.

Good evening. Today (and yesterday)were perfect days to do a little manure management. I took down my buckeye breeding pens and converted them to grow out pens. Left the buff Orpington and bantam pens up for a couple more weeks. Hoover was granted a pardon and returned home to his owners yesterday. He will be allowed to father as many babies and have 5 wives at once. Should keep him busy.

Kids cleaned out the Hatcher and put the rest of the chicks in brooder, so I went to unplug it and sanitize it and what yo my wanderous eyes should appear. Yup another chick that hatched 2 days late.

Holmes those pigeons are quite tempting, especially the pouters.
