I like all the Toads! No matter what color the legs are.
I am surprised to see yours have the same marking as mine from the Buckeye influence, I assume. As chicklings just out of the egg they looked like buckeyes. Now the remaining one looks like a toad Buckeye cross,,,BUT he has the single comb. Hopefully it will be small and next generation will get the rose or cushion combs.
I had a check up last week at the Dr...Everything was doing good....BUT the DR ( being the no good tattling SOB he is) told the WW I had gained a few pounds...I know it was only 6-7 ibs which is good during a winter like this...
However, the DR complained about it and said I need more winter exercise.**...The WW decided we could go snow shoeing together...lucky me..
She ordered us snowshoes, they came today. I went for a walk in them..That is not like a stroll in the park. It is hard work. Myth number one was destroyed. When walking on snowshoes you do not walk on top the snow. You sink down a long ways (in this snow a really long ways)...Then you have to lift your foot out of the hole in the snow and put it on the top of the snow pack and repeat over and over. It is more like climbing HUGE tall stairs.
I am thinking I might be able to use them to get some spring ice fishing in though, so they might be worthwhile... I think her money would have been better spent buying a raffle for a fish finder. She needs one.
** it should ne noted the DR is an Chinese guy that stands 4'5" and weighs 63 pounds soaking wet....I think he needs to put some weight on, he looks sickly and shrimpish.
