Surviving Minnesota!

Banty has lost her way. So we’ll take on Phage as our resident Canuck.

Who is partaking on Thursday?

You’d have to purée them a lot before you can drink them. Probably have to add water. Or, I suppose you could make broth and drink that, but I feel that would be cheating...

The geese are in what was intended to be the hens’ summer house. They can now have fresh grass after I’ve shoveled the snow enough to move their chalet off the previous day’s goose poop.

I was too beat to move them last night. They put up quite a struggle, the idiots. One of them scratched itself or its sib, because I had blood spattered over my pants. One pooped on me. They did quiet down when I made a pathetic attempt at honking noises. The dummies have been terrified of me from the first moment they saw me. What did I doooo?

It says drinking with chickens ;)
Ohhhh, I missed that part. (It was early - hadn’t had my caffeine yet...)
I refuse... my chickens drink some pretty wicked stuff. I want no part of that.
Me neither! I’ve seen the nasty puddles my chickens drink from! Even with fresh, clean waterers, they’ll drink out of the raunchy puddles.
