Yes I think us animal people are fine with social distancing . It will be tough on those who are more social .

A sign I am installing at the end of my driveway will read " Do not enter here without permission. Violators will be shot and government employees will be shot twice ! "
My wife is not in favor of this, but I am used to doing things she is not in favor of.

It does seem like pet people or animal people have less problem with social distancing.
I would say animal people generally spend more time outside too which cuts down on cabin fever.
I would most definitely hate to be stuck in a city apartment. I like chatting here and on the phone where I can still feel connected to the outside world without actually having to see people. You never have to know if I roll my eyes at something you say or bust out laughing inappropriately.
I may feel differently someday when I don't have to go to work and see people on a regular basis.
But I generally go out of my way to avoid having to go anywhere as it is, so social distancing does not really bother me.

Coconut oil with a few drops of tea tree essential oil. Spread on your skin as protective barrier, helps keep mosquitoes away too.

Or catnip oil. Harder to find, though.
