Surviving Minnesota!

Might be my only way. Tomorrow I string netting.
I let a guy hunt and he gives me all the meat I can use.
So far 1 in the net, 1 got hit on the road and he shot 1 Saturday... also lost an arrow/bolt that hit a twig and bounced off a fence and he thinks went out in the high power lines tall grass flood plain.

Morning all,

Just getting out of my deer stand. It’s a better evening than morning stand.

Did anyone else see the full moon and how bright it was?

I came out here to the stand at 5. It was almost daylight bright. Not good for deer hunting.

If we had snow on the ground I could have hunted all night like they do in Mayhew Lake.:lau:lau:lau:lau:lau:lau

I opened the birds door at 5. I thought it’s so light they might as well come out, and I thought I might get a shot at a coyote wanting breakfast if they are out.

Stupid birds are still on the roost.

Morning . Well I have a cold . Picked it up at thanksgiving I think . First covid and now a cold . Tired of being sick . My grandson's wife and baby are the source of both . :(

It appears Covid was fairly easy on you, am I correct?

I have felt like I have a cold coming on the past few evenings. I have been taking megadoses of Vitamin C.

I know what the Doctors say about vitamin C being worthless but it seems to help me. Even if it’s 100% placebo effect.

Yes covid was mild . Started as a mild runny nose , headache, fever and tired . When it broke up we spent the whole day in bed resting . Then it slowly improved over 2-3 days . Then gone .
