I missed spring again this year too. Remember when we use to have spring and we could find Morels.

I miss Morels.

It’s been a very muggy couple of days. Today by far worse then yesterday. The rain is so good though, so I will do my best not to complain. And I do agree we did not get spring this year.

Yesterday’s storms were nice. We got our new turkey coop all setup before they hit. While sitting under the gazebo I could see some nice clouds on the other side of the house. I walk around the house and saw a funnel cloud trying so hard to work up the strength to get going. It never did reach the ground.

This area has been a hot spot for funnel clouds the past couple years. Sounds like the real tornadoes hit along 35W.

Fox 9 says there were 8 touch downs yesterday and we have the potential for more today.
I wouldn’t be surprised. It is very hot and humid. Lots of low clouds here, but nothing storm wise.

We used wax worms for bait . My go to for sunfish . Minnows are hard to find here . Very few bait shops . Mostly gas stations selling bait . I like leeches up north .
