Nothing at all. Many of us have done that.

It’s not hard to do, and EE are cheap to buy.

Nothing wrong at all . I got interested in blue eggs 50 + plus years ago . Wound up helping create the Ameraucana breed from EE . It can be addictive .

I am headed to Devils Lake starting June 6.

How long will you be there? The WW wants to go to Togo after I get back. I should be able to talk her into going the long way through your area,

it’s very addicting, ... but you have to be careful or the hen might lay the wrong color egg at a bad moment...

That’s how @erlibrd ended up with the sweet luvable Princess.. the olive egg laying champion Chanticler.

Morning . Another hot day here . How bad are the skeeters up north ? I will be up in June to do battle with the skeeters and ticks .

Jerry I am sorry to report that recently the mosquitoes have come out in large clouds, and now that there has been substantial rain over the last week I suspect there will be even more hatching out soon. Ticks have been numerous this season as well. I miss the days when I had a flock of guineas which meant ticks were a rare siting.
Thunderstorms last night provided an inch of rain here and cooled things off 20+ degrees.

Ticks are doing quite well this year. It appears they had a banner hatch.

Yes plenty of ticks to go around. Not too many mosquitoes here yet. We haven’t had much rain here but it cooled down considerably over night.
