Surviving Minnesota!

We had freezing rain on Friday, and Sunday we had 3 inches of fluffy white stuff. Slippery (explicitive) mess is the only way to describe the crap!
We had the same, but we got a misty rain and snow Thursday night. It was extremely slippery for us old folks…

I have about 4 inches of snow . Nearby areas got more . There was a 100 vehicle pile up on the interstate about 45 minutes away . Had my last physical therapy session today .

So I go to get the mail and snowplow had wiped out the mail box . I bought extra heavy box and mounted it on a Mn. style post that a wing plow can get under . Problem is IL. does not do wing plow under mailbox . So they get as close as the can with the regular blade . Hit that box at full speed and threw it 30 feet .

That is an once a year event at least here. I think the plow drivers get points for how far it flys.

Hi everyone! Glad to be introducted to the thread. My husband and I live outside of Milaca where it is cold and blustery at the moment, as I'm sure many of you are also experiencing.
We have around 30 chickens and a handful of ducks among all the other animals on the farm.
