Surviving Minnesota!

Hello all!!!!!

Coffee.

Signs and symptoms of a concussion may include:
  • Headache or a feeling of pressure in the head
  • Temporary loss of consciousness
  • Confusion or feeling as if in a fog
  • Amnesia surrounding the traumatic event
  • Dizziness or "seeing stars"
  • Ringing in the ears
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Slurred speech
  • Delayed response to questions
  • Appearing dazed
  • Fatigue
Sounds like the ER you went to is incompetent.

Good morning! The fog is thick this morning but it is supposed to clear and warm up tonight and be sunny and 60s tomorrow. I already have tomorrow off work as I'm thinking today could be a half day too :)

I have chicken stuff to do! Breeding pens are set up and I need to get my meat baby project moving :)

Hey BR!! Glad to see you here, Your now sorta new job must keep you busy.. How are your birds doing?

Hi everyone just wanted to say thanks for the suggestions for the egg eating. I've been checking every hour from dawn to about 2pm, and my numbers are in line and I don't see the broken shells anymore. I've ordered some ceramic eggs. They've been pushing out the golf balls, so maybe they know the difference now. @Duluthralphie do you ever have egg eaters? I'm thinking those ceramic eggs are a good deterrent.

Jerry, I love all your genetics posts. Between rabbit & chicken genetics, I feel I am going mildly insane, but I'm learning!

Great cattle posts, Holm!

Love all the photos of the fluffy chicks & half grown chickens. Adults, too. It's too bad roosters are so pretty & so excessive. If they could just get along, right?

Still looking for an EE or blue egg gened roo. Ralphie, if that gal falls through on that roo, pm me! I'll be close by late April.

Coffee, I hope it's not a concussion and you're just healing.

I've fired up the home made incubator my son & husband made me, trying to troubleshoot some issues I had with it last year.

Bogtown & Holm & others Happy Trails!

Meeting with some local friends tomorrow about getting licensed as a custom processor. Wish us luck!

How soon are you planning to hatch chicks? I have lots of blue egg gene carrying roosters, but they are only about two months old, so they are worthless until June.

Ralphie bummer on the white sport . Some of my pens are taking a break after moving to new pens . Should pick up in a week or so . Hatching egg sales are slow right now . Usually everyone wants early hatches . Seems everybody has full incubators . Easter hatch along I guess . Put one up on eBay . I have not done that in 2-3 years .

R.I.P

Today is a sad day here... We lost one our most beloved flock memberd:hit. Lil' Mrs. Snowball has moved on to the big coop in the sky. She would have been 2 years old this spring:(
