Lol my poor Cochin had an egg stuck in her butt fluff!! And three little Cochins taking up the favorite nest box. Although the one with the stuck egg isnt broody.

MinnesotaNice - how many birds do you have?

11 hens, 6 pullets. I also have 12 chicks and 3 Khaki ducklings. The chicks are mostly straight run, so my fingers are crossed for females. I really need more laying hens or pullets. Getting there....

That's a good site, I go there al the time. The APA website links to it, but a lot of shows/swaps are not on it.

Washington Co, Floodwood and I think St. Cloud.. The Tri-state one does not have a date on it. I think Finlayson is dateless too.

I was kind of hoping everyone that knew of a little swap or show in the area would post.

I did have the banty on duck eggs but decided to toss them in the incubator and give them back to her before they hatch.

No she has about 2-3 inches of fluff and when she lays a wet egg it dries to her fluff.
