Surviving Minnesota!

I do not and if I did, I think it would violate 50-60 state and federal statutes to give them to you!!!!

Oh Come On now. Tennessee and around there seems to have more of a relaxed state affairs. I mean they let them put it on TV! LOL. I wonder what kind of cash is passing hands and pockets for that TV show.

Fuzzy butt picture time. These are last years. Above is Penguin who just moved to Darwin today along with Ginger. When I last saw him he was headed south in the truck of a car...

I thought this was spilled popcorn at first with some salt sprinkled on the side...LOL.

Right now it is 16 degrees at almost 4 pm.

I am getting some Buckeye chick from Minnie. I hope that adds some color to my flock. I also am getting some Cochins.

I am just not sure the buckeye is the chicken for me, I know Minnie likes it and really endorses it. But I have been taken by the creamettes and am not going to jump to another breed without a history. I don't think.

I hope.

I want Dom's and I might just keep breeding my own for a while. However, the dark eggs of a Maran would be fun to have. Just like I get excited about the Swedish Flower hens. BUT I shall resist.

I don't have any hens but you know how much I like my buckeye rooster, Buck. There is a pretty hardcore following of that breed similar to the people that dislike you for calling them creamettes. I used to follow the buckeye thread but unsubscribe from it as I don't really care about my tail feathers being a few degrees off standard and such.

I like buck enough that I would consider getting a few hens. They would probably blend in with my RIRs except the pea comb.
