I can't wait to make a toad. We gave up our last try. They weren't enjoying the love shack and it was getting so wet due to rain that we let them out to prevent them getting sick.

Only 3 auto sexing EE this hatch . Sold some eggs that week . 2 boys on left 1 girl on right . Some Minnesota proof combs in there .

I have something weird going on. Yesterday I got 5 eggs from 4 Creamettes. Today I got 6 eggs from the same 4.

The other 3 gave me one each day.

The pens and coops are side by side with a common wall. The common wall is OSB so the birds cannot see each other. I even went into the pen to see if the hens were tunneling under the wall. They are not, unless they are covering the tunnel entrance.

Just got the shipping notice! all set up and ready! just putting in some thermometers to get the lights set then i will be putting a layer of paper towels on top of the chips. I am excited!!






Also my tomatoes and peppers are thriving! wohoo! about ready to thin them down. probably ready to pot them in a week.

HELLOOOO... Super happy finally got internet today. They failed to tell me after all the BS that it still wouldn't work after they set up 2 HUGE satellites on my roof unless I had a wireless router so I had to run to town to buy one.. My roof looks like something out of a space station.. Lol.. Don't care I have Internet .. Of curse my laptop is dead and I can't find the cord yet.. So my phone will have to work for now.. I love my new little farm. My girls seem happy in their coop and Porter finally got to come here to his new home Yesterday. Ralphie and Judy brought him here, I just LOVE them,, they are so nice and No matter what Ralphie says Judy is about the sweetest thing ever. You can tell she is a little spit fire though.. Porter is Huge and has been making his presence know he seems to know whenever I walk outside he will start screaming his gobbling to me and I will go see him and he will give a little purr grunt sound. He is either telling me he is lonely or is missing his other home. He is eating some not allot but is guzzling down the water so I won't worry yet. He is Beautiful I can't wait till he trusts me.. I started letting the girls free range couple days ago and so far every1 is safe but I'm a little worried today they went way into the woods I tried going in there to scare them out but the thorn bushes are way to bad. Hoping they find their way back to the coop.. I've missed every1 on here funny how a person can get addicted to a website hopefully I can get on more. My 2nd storage pod showed up today so tomorrow more unpacking. When did I get so much stuff.. Lol. Goodnight all and take care...

Ralphie, I suspect that those hens have heard your grumbling about all the male chicks and are attempting to give you more eggs to improve upon the female numbers? If not that then Judy is tricking you by putting eggs in there when you are not looking..
If you were successful in getting those Greenfire Farms chick prices it would not matter what sex they were.

Just checked everyone is coop, glad they all remembered where they live. Even little Roostie and his 1 remaining girl are up on the roost.. Happy to see they all are sharing..
