Surviving Minnesota!

The chicks that I got last week outgrew the dog crate in the porch. Today I moved them into a playpen in the garage. I have 3 weeks to build thema grow out pen, because then the eggs in the bator will move to the playpen. I rarely get anything done unless I have a time limit, and then I tend to wait until the last minute...

Anyway, here are my 13 BLRWs. :) I actually think that I didn't get any Bluee, just black and splash, which is fine. :)

I need to hatch some more chickens. I was thinking I was done with chickens, but I sold all my EE, now I need to hatch more. I need more myself...

That auction looks interesting. I might have to make that trip to Long Prairie.

18/80 cows calved!!
Its my dads birthday tomorrow, along with my cousins, so my cousin and her parents. They live im the suburbs of Bismarck, and have chickens.
I have to clean my coop, and pen tomorrow.
My younger sister is going to a neighbors to pick up a pregnant cat, tomorrow or Sunday, so we can have some barn kittens, since we officially moved here in 2014, we don't have any barn cats yet.
I'm going to get the barn ready for my milk cow coming in Middle of April.
And I need to clean my room.
All before 10 am
Its not going to happen

I'm in ND. I just joined this since there's not many from ND here. My mom three sisters and I stayed at the ranch in summer of 2013, my dad stayed at the real home to continue his job. My mom sisters and I then fully moved to the ranch in summer of 2014, my dad stayed at the real home to help pay for the house we were building, and so we could buy cows.
Then he moved down April of 2015. And now we all live here. But i literally grew up on my grandparents ranch

Do any of you breed show silkies?

I'm the MN state rep for the American Silkie Bantam Club. I raise bearded black, white, buff, and partridge. If you click on my profile it will take you to my webpage. Lots of chicks available right now and incubator is full. I'm also starting to get bantam polish and bantam faverolles out of the shell too right now. NP IP certified for both PT and AI
