Today there are men working on putting in new electric poles in our front yard. All we have is front yard along the highway - LOL - because the river is just behind us. Like out our back door about twenty feet and then another twenty feet of river bank down. Big Lake is putting in a bike path from the town, and about one and a half miles out to Lions Park so preparation is being done to achieve that goal. I THINK the plan is to pave the other side of the highway - so I am not quite understanding why this side is getting new poles. So Tom Hanks is locked down to day too. He's not liking it.

x2 Ralphie. How insensitive that I didn't mention that right away this morning. Please give Judy my condolences as well. The ones you put the most effort into--seem to be the ones that break your heart. I need to put a bird down this weekend, myself. Not going to be easy. Abdomen full of egg yolks. I hate that.

Ether is the way to go.. it takes a lot of pain out of it...


BTW when I mention one dies it is just as info, I do not expect condolences, then I feel bad for not feeling too bad. In her case it was inevitable she was so crippled.

Nothing like a trip to the local auto parts store to increase the condescension levels in my life. I needed a new belt for my belly mower in the AC. It is a standard v belt 7/8"x172" nothing complicated. The kid behind the counter is rolling his eyes and scoffing because 'how am I supposed to know what belt it is if you don't know the part number"
I don't even know what kind of mower it is, it is green and probably older than I am. And the belt had no printing on it. I finally just walked out. I can order the dumb thing on line and be done with it.

I always get a chuckle as when they run down the standard list of questions about your model of car and hit 'is that a 2 wheel drive or 4....' No matter what car it is....

Most people don't know it but you can order all kinds of implement parts from autozone or oreillys they do more than car parts.... As long as Steven isn't working when you get there.
