Congrats on the grand baby Ralphie!

Lvie I already have two cats for Ralphie! They are also used to chickens and avoid all my free range chicks! Lol. He can get them when we bring him his turkey lol. Whenever that is

4 1/2 more inches of rain last night was enough to flood the river in town. Actually, it is closed in 3 places, so we had a heck of a time getting to town this evening. I missed my clogging class and daughter got there just in time for her ballet. I found a shorter way for the second trip in though. This is the 4th or 5th time Hwy 58 has flooded. We are on the North Fork of the Zumbro River. These are supposed to be hundred-year floods, but every 3 or 4 year, I think they need to call them something different.
Our basement is taking in water, but that is nothing new. I am working on convincing my husband we need to raise the house and put in a new basement with an attached greenhouse to the south side to grow greens and things year-around. We will see.

Good to know Holm. You know that Ralphie needs our help to get his issues taken care of.

That takes care of the barn cat he said he should get to take care of rodents but had concerns about putting any cats around the chickens.

Moving on now. How do we help with the issue of the pecking bird. Did you see the picture posted of Judy's hand? Holy Cats!!! It resembled that of someone that walked on water. She pret near does do that.
