Surviving Minnesota!

As you can tell, I am being lazy as I await the rain.

It is already raining at the WW's house. She most likely cast a curse on someone.

I have decided to clean in the house for a while. so I clean for 4 minutes than type for 10. I should have the place cleaned in a few days. I am thinking of going out and clean barn, but being lazy is a hindrance to that.

I just came across our "cards against humanity" game, Have any of you played it? It is most fun after several Mikes or Henry's when your common sense is over ruled by Alcohol. BTW It is not a game for the politically correct crowd, which I am seldom accused of being part of.

As Yukon Cornelius said, "Bumbles Bounce."

Ivie glad to hear the little RIR is back on track. So tough....

My first birds are 4 1/2 years old. Sylvia, Marigold and Lily are left. ...and I think Dixie the bantam silkie is about their age too. I got her from Minnie as an adult bird. But I think they were same year as my others. Sylvia will lay a clutch of eggs every spring and late summer sometimes....although she didn't do the late summer clutch this year.

Teal Carhartt arrived yesterday....it's perty.
I can't remember if Dixie was 1 or 2 when you got her.

As my grandmother used to say, "We were made close to the ground so our ample backsides would cushion our fall." Or something to that effect. My grandfather was also of a lower stature, he wanted to sue the city for building sidewalks so close to his posterior. (Not the language he used to use.)

I had to put on my purple Carhart vest to do chores on Sunday when I returned. It suddenly turned quite chilly then.

We were introduced to the game, or at least I was, by our oldest last winter. It is a gut buster, and in my clan, we don't need drinks to get crazy with that one!
There is another, Exploding Kittens. It isn't where you harm animals, but we have yet to play it here, but it was rated very high according to my DH.

I will have to look that exploding kittens up. It sounds like a fun game that is good for society too!

I just looked back on my Buff Silkie Message with you and I got her October 2013 from you. She was a year plus old. So hatched early 2012 maybe? She's probably my oldest hen. Going on 5 here soon. Lays like a champ! Well. When she's not broody. Hahaha.

The two phases of Dixie:

We've played Cards Against Humanity. Pretty Funny stuff. We usually play New Years Eve with our crew of friends. Of course they are obnoxious like us, too. Last New Years we Played Telestrations (After Dark) version. Hilarious. But after cocktails half a night it usually degrades down to the same picture concepts. LOL. It's a drawing game with dry-erase markers. You get the picture....

Carhartt Jacket is a little small on me...I'm a tidge disappointed. I love it so much and I got the largest size it came in. Dangit. Reason # 278 to diet --> to fit into Carhartt Barn Jacket.
