Surviving Minnesota!

just finished processing, gringing, packaging and freezing my venison put up over 30 one pound packages plus kept some out for making summer sausage. Cleaned up the loins and bagged them plus i have the Liver, Heart and something that looks similar to the liver but squishier (kidney?) that i saved or the dogs. Happy to have that done. Now i need to clean out my garage beer fridge that looks like something out of a slaughter snuff flick.

Also got my new chicken coop all but done! the flocks will be combining tomorrow morning! after we get them moved they will stay in there for a day or two to get comfy.

it has been a long but productive day and im wiped. tucking into a Captain and cream soda... a new favorite of mine

@KlopKlop I was thinking, instead of brooding chicks this time of the year, wouldn't you be better off picking up pullets that have started laying or at POL for around the same price as they would go to a nice Asian lady?

They would be all black or close to it with a little bleed through and lay nice brown eggs...

If you knew someone that wants to get rid of a certain line of chickens...
if someone were to have something like this perhaps i would PM them for some details and this person should check their inbox...

Also!!! finally parked in the garage for the first time!! got the gravel graded nicely after several days of messing with it. it feels good to be parked in my own personal garage stall for the first time in my life!! i honestly have never had a garage stall just for me ( that my truck fit into at least)

Good morning all....from the woman who is suffering from a severe case of buck fever. Yesterday we did some drives while hunting, while posting the biggest 10 point buck I ever saw came out 50 yards from me. I could only look and stare. Then I remembered I was hunting and should use that thing in my hands called a shotgun. Needless to say I received enough crap about it to fill a manure spreader.

My young whites . Laying already .

Sunrise

My 2 project pullets . Close to laying . 4 years ago I was told it was impossible to get slate legs with sex linked barring . Told by people who never tried .

Always good to finish those projects! Now I see a house next to it already and I was thinking you were going to put a new house onto it. Remind me of your end goal please?
