I see Fleetfarm has woodchips at 4 something a bag. I may have to actually fight the crowds for that.

My daughter cooked. She made ham.. I think we did something wrong when raising them.

We are headed to the WW's house tomorrow, Judy wants to bring a turkey breast to cook for her. I do not have any in the freezer and it is too late to butcher and have one rest....So I am going to buy a breast today..How sick is that?

I have a dozen that would have fit the bill had she told me on Monday.

Ralphie did you get your van fixed?

I have another layer giving me a bluer egg. Perhaps this is June Carter from Minnie. Since Jerry said his blue Ameraucanas will give more olive green. Excited to have it and will now have to watch to see who's sneaking into nest box that is new. Cute little sneaks.

Our snow pack is shrinking. Wouldn't it be nice if I had some bare lawn for 12 birds to pasture on? I think so. I bet it's down to 6-8 inches already. Honestly.

Turkey and ham at the in laws. And then mil makes oyster dressing that is tradition and to die for. Hope every body had a good thanksgiving.

We have a morning session of BB practice today for my DD. So I am up and on the road to our school. Early. I thought I had the day off! Not so much. Chauffeur today!

You could get a blue egg from the blue pullets . I have 1 hen that lays a nice blue egg . I need to line breed from her to clean up the color . The green layer is a great egg producer . So more chicks came from her .

BC, I got my van fixed right after the deer incidence. I have the back lined with OSB right now as I have been hauling lots of chickens in it. Judy is not happy with me over that.. Makes no sense.
