Surviving Minnesota!

Good afternoon Chickeners . . . . Went over to Monticello to get some chicken feed and a few errands. Made it to Home Depot and then Runnings and then drove home at 20 mph with the hazard lights on. Something is drastically wrong with the vehicle. DH tried to explain it to me and our mechanic last Monday but mechanic could not find a thing. Thank heavens it happened in Monticello. I was gone each day last week and putting miles and miles on the vehicle. Like 200 a day. Nothing happened while I was out and about. Blessings.

I don't mind being home. No car is a nice excuse to go no where. Going out to clean up the coop, prepare it for the nasty cold stuff arriving - I think tomorrow.

6-8 inches now. Ditches were previously full so there's a bunch on the road. I couldn't even tell the difference between road and Ditch when walking to go do chores and back.
We are moving cows back to the calving pasture for good today my dad and i both agreed this won't be the last time we get hit before calving.

Got home from Wisconsin last night. So good to be home. Things are much quieter! I may have 5 kids but does not compare to 16 kids who don't see each other often! Not sure how the first day back to school is going to go with the way the weather seems to be playing out. I won't complain for another day off.

@Bogtown Chick and @holm25 Congratulations
