I just called to check the automated power outage update thing..

A real person answered. ( maybe) .... She said "are you calling to report a power. Outage?"

I said " No, I was calling to get the auto-update to see when the outage might be over".

She says " I am sorry Sir, the outage ended 20 minutes ago"

I said " Really.? Why do I not have power?"

She said " You do, Sir"

I said, " No, I don't".

She said " Would you like to report a new outage?"

I Said " No,I want to know when the one that started 90 minutes ago will end"

She Said " I did end, we restored all power 20 minutes ago".

I said. " No, you did not, I did not get my power back"

She said " are you sure, sir?

I said " well, I am sitting here in the dark with no lights on Freezing my arse"

She said " are you sure? Are you home?"

I said " I said yes I am"

She said " and you have no power?"

I said " yes, I have no power"

She said " Well, let me make a note and report your power outage"

I said "thank you"

She said " You're welcome, have a good day, but you should have power now everyone else does"....

I said " thanks" ad hung up..

They rely to heavily on computers I'm guessing.

Well 2 wood duck boxes done . One with ash lumber one with hedge (osage orange) . I have some of the Golden delicious pumpkin seed .
BC I will probably take you up on the offer of the big pine tree . DW is napping so no noise making for awhile . I will do more after her nap .

It appears they forgot to "turn on" this leg... BC, Being a Man, I knew enough to check the breaker first.

I lost three of my 2 1/2 week old chicks outside. The stupid things clustered together outside their nice cozy insulated cave..... 2 dom and one white legbar got squashed... Couldn't be something worthless like a Pollack! Had to be the good ones.


I have not been downstairs to look yet, I am ascared to after finding the dead ones outside..........

Oh my!!!! I'm watching the NBC nightly news. Did you know New York got 7.5 inches of snow?! That's enough snow to dominate 'national' news for 10 minutes! Where is Lester holt when I have 13 right before Christmas?! ROFL. Hey Layers I would call NBC news and tell them that you are walking on snow drifts taller than school buses.

I don't know how good the wood is Jerry but it's a beautiful old straight tree. Top is dead but live needles half way up so there's 'some' good wood there I'm guessing...?
