Ralphie, I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles! I hope you can figure out what's going on soon, and that you recover quickly from your physical ailments.

Ralph....I have an unlimited phone plan. I use the phone as a hot spot at my other home. It even works on the WiFi tv. Loved it!

Yes they look nice....but they have a hefty price tag too.

So based on the feathering of the turkey I posted early do you think they would be fine outside already? They are 4 weeks old already. I am ready to move them outside.

I can not believe that tomorrow I am heading to state fair! I am so excited to go!
On a bad note my frizzle died on Tuesday. No idea why it was one of the weirdest deaths I have ever seen in a chicken. I had her in front of the house in the grass and she was walking around she was totally fine. I got done washing the first pullet bent down to grab the frizzle and she started seizures and died. These were some of the most erratic and strong seizures I have ever seen a bird have. She had no symptoms before.

errr....ahhh I think you have that backwards...Legs up is Fight response thus Boys....

Legs down is cry like a little girl response....

Oh no! Well, I looked at their wing feathers and the top one is shorter than the back one. Whatever because it was worth the experience but will probably not happen again for a long, long, long time. Until my chicken count is w a a a y down. I just do not need all these birds but am enjoying the adventure.

Once again, somehow, we can't figure it out, we got no rain today. My DH was home all day and dry as a bone... I don't get it.

Could it be that the DH is home? I mean . . . he may be sucking up the humidity from the air if he is dry as a bone.

Wow ILLs! Ralphie had that one bird that he put in the cage for the lady and daughter picking them up and he just laid down and kicked the bucket. I guess I do not realize just how stressed a bird can become because, just like us, they hide it well. Sorry to hear about your frizzle.
