Surviving Minnesota!

Morning . Heavy rain yesterday evening and some rain early today . Grandson went home yesterday . Building is going slow . Not sure if I can do much on fresh fill after the rain .It is kind of sandy . About 20 + geese on the lake . Still flightless . Can only get about10 feet in the air . They sure can make a mess .

Super quiet day here survivors, hope everyone's out enjoying the nice day.
The new neighbors have moved onto their lot into a camper while finishing the house, they have a lot to do yet. Their dog tried to come into my yard while my flock was out in the yard luckily I was out with them keeping a close eye on everyone. I penned them up early cause I was a nervous nelly.

Some of you may remember Dixie's first two cockerels. Well today Elvis moved with two or three of his hens to a new backyard where he'll watch over a total of about 15 hens. I think he weighs nearly 15 pounds. He's a big Boy! The previous owners were having visits by stray dogs and Elvis was losing his girls. Also the family is young ... 3 little kids under 8 . Busy. But the dog thing put this on the back burner for them. Happily Elvis was highly desired by another couple. Closer to me also. Here he is.
