Holms, I did not. If I was going to become serious about showing I would seriously consider it, but only after a determination that I could not get the penciling I desired with one line.

You did very well with the penciling! That was one of the comments I got from the Judge last year, the great penciling on the skirt.

The article Banty pointed out in the CFI newsletters covered exactly that. It actually gave some good hints. I happen to have a rooster with some red leakage in front of his breast and hackles. He will no longer be going to visit the Nice Asian Lady in St. Paul.

Ok so it's been a min but I have been super super busy. Did harvest supper. Canned a bunch of jellies and jams. You know all the harvest things that makes life so very busy. Any way one of the local church ladies told me eggs from my flock that roams are no different than the 99cent eggs from kwik trip. I don't really know what to think about those comments at times.

Oh I should also say this I'm still looking for bbs orpingtons close to rochester mn. And that most of the church ladies are getting rather attached to their garden minister caring for a flock of chickens. They say it helps with their grocery bill and are learning that fresh eggs don't peel. A few of the farmers know it but we still have some city folk in our rural church.

I am doing one last batch in the old trusty foamy. Hopefully, by next hatch the official hatchery will be open for business. On Sunday I set 28 eggs. Of which 7 are Toad eggs....I am not holding my hopes up on fertility. As well as 3 buff orpington....again not much hopes on fertility as I did not do a vent trimming. The remainder are Buckeye and Yoki eggs.
