.....Life is going bad today...

I started updating my Putor last night. It is at 42% this morning....I might not get back on it for a week or two.

In addition to having to use my IPhone this morning, I have to put up with 2 frauds trying to win the strictly Minnesota contest.....

I assume they think because Jerry is qualified to win they should be...They don't understand Jerry has a home here (part time) and we are trying to recruit him to the full time team.



I have the keyboard linked to my IPhone so I can at least use a keyboard.

The only way you could become a resident here is to marry Holm as the rest of the guys are married.....and I know he has good tastes so that could make it impossible for you to move here........

And I am sure he is not wanting kids at this point in his life.......

He is getting better, But he has a long ways to go, I am thinking of isolating him so he sees only me and no other living being. I have found birds and even PITA roosters are social animals and will become lonely if they cannot see any other critters. That might help him attach himself to me.

None of my Chanticler are "friendly" like Cuddles is, but Cuddles is the exception with roosters, IMHO.

Ed, the original Chanticler I go from you is not mean but he does not really love being handled. Weinerhead is better than he was last year, but like Ed he does not seek out my company. Knucklehead is Weinerheads kid.

He is worse than Knucklehead last year, but he will take down. I just want him to the point he does not eat the judge in Hutch. When MnChickmom says the judge put Knothead above Weinerhead because of his attitude she is telling the truth....BUT I look at them very critically and when I see Knucklehead, I see a bird that could potentially win the Nationals.

Knucklehead is the bird I showed a picture of on the Chanticler website and it is because of Knucklehead that Mike Gilbert wants one of my cockerels. To me if Mike Gilbert wants one of my birds I have done it right.

I rank him up there just a tad below Jerry who to me is the chicken genetics God.

All that said, I am thinking of using mind altering drugs on Knucklehead to see if that makes him lovable...

Ralphie, have you given consideration to the hen side of this antisocial issue ? If Weinerheads mother is also Knuckelheads mother, you may have a double dose from that side ? I don't know if you would breed that way to concentrate genes ? Some people would.

I did, and I am not sure who is Knuckleheads Mother. The one hen I got from you was so perfect I bred her to Weinerhead in hopes of getting that nice triple penciling on a chicks upper leg..

It failed and I made a bunch of great roosters. Matter of fact I am showing one of the original hens I got from you. I am doing a Holms and taking credit for your breeding...





As of this point, no one has told me how to "make" a good partridge hen. Jerry claims lack of knowledge on it, Mike Gilbert is extremely tight lipped, and I cannot find anything online.

Therefore, I am stuck trying to stumble upon the technique, unless you can tell me.
