Morning . Well chicks are caged . Now to sort cockerels today . Camp day coming for some . Skinny chicken dinners . DW always whines about my chickens being tough or small . So small is not tough . They are around 9 weeks I think .

Wet and warm at the head of the lake this morning. 50 degrees and raining. Lake Superior may reach a new high water mark ? Wish they had some of this rain in No. California.

Yes I like it . Home grown is not full of grease like store bought . Try grilling store bought and you have a grease fire .

Neighbors up. Dog shooters are in town so have Sadies cable tie up and buzzy collar charging.

I don't care for the texture of store bought..after the meat birds I have been raising...
I still like my fat toads roasted or smoked..but that is because of the taste of an older bird versus a 6-7 week old one.
The neighbors allow you to put a buzzy collar on them....Erlibrd needs buzzy collars on her neighbors...maybe you could help her get the collars on her neighbors....
Do you have a buzzy collar on your neighbor that was letting the chickens out .
