None of the eggs were pipped today so I threw them out. Not a happy camper.
I took the Red river Valley Fair out of my show list. It just didn't make sense to go to 3 shows in one month. So now the the hens I was going to take there will be shown in the Open Show at state fair. So there will be at least 4 blue cochins!

I’ve got a bunch of work to get a going on. I have for 6 years got away with this run. I had left the doors wide open for free ranging even in winter but the chicks don’t go any where but the run and coop now with snow and they are fox bait. The run wrapped in plastic has deterred I think believe it or not. I should do clear panels like you have done to be honest. For now I’ll do hardware cloth on the lower part to start off. Once in the coop at night and pop door closed they are protected. Coop is solid. Run is not.
