I just moved a ceramic egg into the pen with the egg eating Dom. I will need to get a couple more of them. BUT they do a great job of slowing the eating.
It appears the egg eaters think they have to just hit the egg harder to crack it open......eventually it must hurt their heads..and they stop

The problem is making sure you don't harvest the egg...I have found the smallest mark and the birds can figure out which one it is...
