Good morning everyone... I'm sitting here waiting for global warming to kick in... For some reason it hasn't yet... Guess I'll keep waiting...

I suggest you give global warming a kickstart.....Do you have any old tractor tires you can burn?

Jerry, did you see the post from John Blehm on the Ameraucana Alliance site regarding the Pheasaucana project ? Don't know if he is serious or posting an early April Fool's joke ?

It appears he is serious . Considered it myself at onetime . Checked the link to the coop . So it appears it has been done before and fertility problems until fourth generation . My guess is they loose their unique traits by fourth generation . John can probably turn it into a breed if anyone can .

I only have the one cockerel. I would love to breed legbars for the use in getting the Cream legbars recognized by APA. But I have no pullets/hens for him.

I know a place you can get a ton of eggs....maybe even some hens...........

My snapchat said it was -12 before I got out of bed, but my car said -9 while I was driving to town. Yesterday we got up to 2, but it was windy. It felt better at -12 with no wind this morning. We're supposed to get a couple inches of snow tonight I think, and have a nice heat wave that should warm up us to around 16 tomorrow! My scovies had ice all over them this morning, so they must have tried swimming in their water yesterday and now they are ducksicles
