Surviving Minnesota!

Morning...

The SS chicks are starting to become "fun". They are curious. While the majority of the chicks flee when I give them feed, some of the SS come to me. They will stand there heads cocked waiting for me to reach in. Then they rear back and peck m fingers.

Little dinosaurs in the making.

Just these.....

We have been preparing for the storm all day. Cleaned the coop and filled it with some new straw, cleaned the Cochins cages, got lots of feed down by the coop, and picked up a couple of things laying around. Dad and I had to do some stuff to get ready for calving too.

Got to socialize a bit with the family of dairy cows. Chuck on the left, Stella in the middle, and Dakota(mom of both) on the right
