Surviving Minnesota!

Cuddles temperament is inductive of a Speckled Sussex temperament. My rooster, Gregory Peck, had the same great personality. All my hens have been uber friendly, curious, a bit vocal, and the best foragers. It's a cool breed!

I am wondering if I am close enough to the big lake to grow bananas ? It was 49 degrees on my thermometer yesterday afternoon, so I must consider the possibility that I am actually in the Mn. Banana Belt Zone.
Much south facing hillside has now melted to bare ground, and the chickens are loving it.
I thought Ralphie might be more active on this site now that he does not have to write speeches but alas that does not seem to be the case ?

I have been busy EJB. I may not be out of the race. I have not decided.

I have always said as long as things were above board and honest I would honor the endorsement. There is a better than 99.9% chance some dirty politics took place..In my mind. I am also having trouble with a person that has such a hatred towards farmers and tradesmen being our rep.

However, I have had some catching up to do around the Banana orchard and chicken coops the last few days.
