No. . thankfully. But since I am hand turning and I haven't quite gotten the hang of getting in and out fast. . it seems to take a bit longer than I would like to get back up to temp. Tonight I will try popping out a window to turn maybe that will help.Oh noWhat now? Spikes?
Oh, you're fine there. I don't know about safe range, but I do know eggs take a while to cool off and can take a whole lot of abuse before they die. Momma hens get off the nest daily.
"105" turns into the scariest number in the world once you start incubating, eh?I was was hoping that shouldn't be too awful cause my broody gets off the eggs several times a day. I'm sure those eggs get cooled off

If I buy an incubator after this I will definitely get one with an auto Turner that I can lay them on their side. I'm not thrilled about messing with the eggs every day. I think I've been around Ralphie too long!
