Surviving Minnesota!

I want a broody hen but this is not the kind of temperatures to let eggs accumulate in the nest . :(
I have my first broody sitting on a nest right now... It was noce when I gave her eggs but now it’s icky.... If I have too I can take her babies in the house...
 
Morning. Cats purring in my ear and complaining to get the chickens out. Aka his TV program he watches them in the window most of the day when he isn't pestering me. Chilly here today. The bee keeper at church was supporting my habit. Clarence said when the husband asks that it was his idea and I got his permission for more chickens. I give him eggs... he gives me honey. Saturday is the wabasha swap.may be I will get to liven up the cats TV show and tell my husband clarence said I could
