Crocheting in a dental waiting room makes people nervous.. these town people are odd. I'm also getting anxious for egg drop off at my church meeting this afternoon. What's every one else up to

Work at my paying job to support my chicken habits....then chicken chores, incubation, haul kids to and from events, teach religion, meet with the Finance Council and set a budget for church, 4H meetings, Crochet while waiting for the kids to get out of said event, work at the in-laws farm as Great Grandma is still hanging in there....(she is 100% German and it shows in her feistiness.)

Wouldn't trade the above tasks for the world though!

Notably missing housework and my house shows it!

This is an unfair time of year too for deer. They still poke through the snow crust. The wolves run lightly on top with those padded feet. This is the same area and probably same pack I posted about earlier this winter. They are sighted often and alot of homes there along the snowmobile trails and such.

I am amazed they have not fallen victim the to the dreaded SSS disease.

MNChickMom I was just looking at our showers and bathtubs today. I've been knitting and running too much. State of affairs at our house is similar to yours I think.

She thinks she is 100% German.

My Mom claims she is 100% German as did my Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. We received ancestry.com DNA tests for Xmas.

I must be adopted if Mom in 100% German. I have less than 10% western Europe and 17% eastern Europe. So color me adopted. Mom says I am not but what else can she say?


Oh and the Lessor Scandinavian I married is Greater Scandinavian and not lessor. (She actually might be more Danish as they consider that Southern Sweden in the tests.)

Dad is 100% German. But they use regions in the Ancestry.com results. So Northern Germany relatives have some raiding viking blood running through their veins. He was put out that he had less Krout then suspected.

It appears there was a lot of migration within Europe, Africa and the middle east prior to the migration to the Americas.

I am a purebred mutt. It did show my ancestors were here prior to 1700. Also you guys should be very very afraid of me......I have some Arab in me! Not much but enough to work on a "special vest".....
