Does anyone else go on BYC from their phone? I am really starting to hate it on my phone... My fingers are too big to type and I can’t spell a darn thing right lol... Might have to go back to the Laptop...

It appears there was a lot of migration within Europe, Africa and the middle east prior to the migration to the Americas.

I am a purebred mutt. It did show my ancestors were here prior to 1700. Also you guys should be very very afraid of me......I have some Arab in me! Not much but enough to work on a "special vest".....

My FIL claims to be 100% Norwegian. My MIL claims to be 100% German. Then how was my wife nearly 25% Irish? I believe the difference lies in the confusion between ethnicity and nationality. If someone of "Irish" blood moved to Norway he'd still be Norwegian.

That is my guess too. I also think the movements before the last 3-4 generations are simply lost from family history.

I use it only on my phone. Never have used it on the computer...I should try.

Additionally, Ralphie, we feed the deer daily, so you wouldn’t like our backyard.

My plans today include working. Thinking about being productive when I get home, gettinghome, threatening the chicks with moving out to the coop, not moving them to the coop due to being lazy, and then committing my self to the couch, procrastinating homework to another day.

Couches need attention too. Lol

Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion. It is a lot of fun.. I’ve obly ever missed it once in my life...

Our sons grew up going there - never missed a year! We just attended the show, didn’t work there. We still go every chance we get. We help out at a little show near Twin Brooks, SD.

My theory is red hair got into Scandinavia through Irish women brought back from raids . Around here I think Irish when I see red hair . In Mn I think Erick the red's bloodline .
