Watched the Mamma Pileated feed her baby for awhile this morning.. Only the baby is here now..

Faking is illegal trimming of feathers or dyeing feathers or any coloring legs and stuff like that anything that is removed from the bird that should not be. It dies not include the things normally done in grooming...

To put it in terms a city slicker would understand,,,,,,,,,

a woman suddenly getting huge eye lashes or changing from a 32a to a 36d is faking.

I assumed it was something along those lines. .but I can't believe people try to do that to win chicken shows. cheaters.

How would one go about coloring a chickens legs? Do they dip them in dye or something?

There’s people that poison and even steal birds at shows... Although people don’t poison bird often but at bigger shows it’s not uncommon for birds to be stole.... It’s crazy the things a person will do for their breeding program or to win a show..
