Surviving Minnesota!

Good morning! :frow Hiya Ralphie!

Saturday morning ! Fresh beautiful day to get stuff done! Kids are at the resort today working. Ds was actually up quite early to meet up for a goose shoot, then he was heading to work.

Nobody home last night either. The kids are gone! As it should be. And I get the tv remote!

Hey all,, I am alive but busier than a one legged frog at a jumping contest...

I am done to under 20 hens!!! I need to process roosters but they need to wait until nov 7th.

Btw Fred I did not get the farm bureau endorsement... bums me out a tad.

Does this include the 3 pullets and 3 cockerels you have at the off-site out of Judy’s sight location.

Ralphie, the Farm Bureau org. is just as political as most. You have to make the right connections at the right level.
Good photos Holm's, and I like that steer. He is a little small yet but almost good enough to eat. Should make a good show steer.
I am happy to see more posting, but I do have what some might consider bad news,
Winter will be early. I know this because I saw two large flocks of migrating geese yesterday.

Ejb.....my turkeys are molting early. Started in August. Anytime they molt early, we have a worse than normal winter.

Entries for Hutch are due in about a month! I am going to try and take as many birds as possible, not that many though, only 2 black cockerels, 2 black hens, 1 black pullet, 1 white cockerel, and 1 white pullet.
So who is going? Are you coming to show, or buy birds, or visit? Or all 3!
