Surviving Minnesota!

The wind blew very hard for an hour or two yesterday around 2pm. Zero visibility. Today is nice, but cold.

Good morning! Spent half the day yesterday cleaning the coop, washing summer waterers and looking at breeding mates. After that went to celebrate Thanksgiving with my Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We celebrate at the assisted living facility as my grandma is in the nursing home and my grandfather is in the apartments. They both look amazing, despite the arguments that took place getting them there.

Here is one of the buff Orpington males I intend to breed from.

His comb stinks at best but his type is nice. Color is fairly uniform, he is 10 months old so he had not developed a breast yet, but if I put him over a busty female with nice comb I hope to make some progress.
