It is roasted Blue Slate... I had the chance to have wild turkey yesterday, but the Game Warden seemed a little tipsy yesterday. I had 9 wild turkeys along side the house, where conveniently I have a screen off my window for shooting the rabid chipmunks and squirrels without having to walk outside and risk them escaping.....

When I asked him if I needed a permit to shoot Wild turkeys, that seemed set on causing damage to my property and livestock, he started laughing and coughing...kind of wheezing..So I assume he was either completely mekeland or has a nasty virus...Either way he hung up the phone without giving me a permit...

I have to relate an event that shocked me....



I have a Toad rooster named “hoover”. I did not hatch this toad. I got it from someone else in my area that raises toads.......... BTW you all know this person too....



I got him for breeding as I was not sure I had a good toad rooster for this year. Being a honest person, I did not want her to think I took Hoover on false pretenses informed her I would be using him as a back up breeder as I have a better rooster I hatched late last summer and I would bring him back to her...



Her response was “ well, he can be served up along side the turkey on Thanksgiving”



I was in shock (again) here this person is telling me to kill her pet rooster. I talked to Hoover, yesterday and found he lived in fear the entire time he lived in Mayhew Township!



The other thing I have learned is she has a Toad hen so afraid of her it is hiding under the floor of a building refusing to come out......



I always thought she was a nice person and loved her animals.....Now I am a tad worried when Social Services and PETA get through investigating the Animal Cruelty I reported her for, if she will cause me to live in fear too.



I am thinking of having a restraining order drawn up just to be safe....Any other ideas of things we can do to someone who treats chickens like this?
