On Sunday it will be a week for these eggs, 39 Cochin and 1 partridge Wyandotte. The cochins are laying really well, as they have been for a month. The Wyandotte not so much, she laid her first egg around 3 weeks ago or so, since then she has laid 2 others, both which have froze

Awwwe they are tiny and mom looks proud. Are pigeons good moms or if you bother them will they eat their young like a nasty hamster does ?

Nope they don’t eat them I don’t think. I’m gonna have to get a video of her feeding them. Pretty darn cool...

I wonder if it is possible to cross a hamster with a dux?

I would say is it nature or nurture..... but dux are not nurtured... but imagine the marketability of a dux that eats its young... I would even buy them,,,and turn them lose in the federal dux refuge...
