Lets suppose somehow, pruning or grafting paste got onto Judy's antique table.....Assuming of course, I know nothing about it and had nothing to do with it....

Does anyone know how to remove it without removing the finish and in such a way she will not notice it in say 15 minutes or less?

The first thing I would have tried is straight dish soap with just a tiny bit of water.

No I pruned some water sprout off the apple trees and put the paste on the raw cuts.
