Surviving Minnesota!

Good news: the never-ending winter has not kilt us yet. It’s supposed to snow/drizzle all week but not blizzard. Not blizzarding is a net positive.

Good news: since I married Terry I’ve had my/our taxes done by the end of February. My routine used to be to go to the library on April 15 in a sense of overpowering gloom and mild panic. Try to do taxes. Fail. File an extension. Now Terry makes an appointment to do our taxes, we give the accountant a lot of money and in return, we don’t yell at each other or break anything at all. Ridiculously expensive to figure out how much more the evil overlords want to extort from us, but worth it. I guess. Where’s my darned post card tax form?

Just rubbing it in but UPS delivered my trees yesterday and I planted 2 Evans Bali Cherry trees and 2 Spartan Apple trees today.

I got my income tax refund back in the first week of February.

We have a tax guy, too. Ag taxes can be complicated.
