We’ve had a great day here. Sunshine and 63 . I got my deck pretty much set up. No plants yet but I fixed my fountain. Took out some deck furniture, umbrella, Spray painted chipped fiberglass pots and also bit of rust on the patio chairs. Watched chickens. took pictures of Sentry. Fixed a line on the clothes line. Took pictures of chicks. Took down rotten bird houses. Watched chickens.
Now a fireman’s dinner. Nummy.

Two Midnight Majesty Marans. A Hoover hybrid. They claim 260 eggs a year!

Barnevelders. Excited for these two!

I hatched out some Marans a couple weeks ago. They’re probably the friendliest chicks I’ve ever had.

Hoover’s has definitely advertised these as a hybrid. I noted the babies have have blackish combs. And not all the chicks had feathered legs. I’m on a thread to find out more and see how everybody else who has them does.
