Surviving Minnesota!

I have no idea what the plant elephant ears is.... sorry can’t help you Memphis.

I lost my first bird to the heat today. She was dead right next to the water bowl. It was a SS hen.

I have a feeling there will be a couple more this week.

My old flock and all the turkeys are hanging in and around the barn/coop/ shed. I have no idea why they aren’t in the shade of a tree.

None of the birds seem to be eating.

The young ones have not eaten much if any feed in the three days since I moved them.

I sprinkled feed on the ground and into the feeder shack for them. Hopefully they will eat today. There is some seeds and weeds in their run so maybe they are eating that.

I've been mixing water in a bowl of feed and they like that and they get some moisture while they eat. The regular dry feed is also as usual.

Somebody explain these cold hardy elephant ears to me & Cindy!

Those look good Ralphie!
Me too! My elephant ears hardly ever come back unless I dig the bulbs every fall.
Mine were like this . .
