Frigid morning. I put on the red lamp last night. Everybody was big and puffed. Loretta crawled under Sentry’s wing. It will be a coop day today as it won’t climb above 0.

-22 here right now. When it warms up to -10 I'll open the pop door and give them a choice but they will most likely run back inside ...

Morning . Big chill coming today . Falling temps all day . Got to clean the driveway . Snow stuck on the trees .

I filled waterers and feeders yesterday in preparation for today.

I have no plans to open the doors as they won’t come out. I won’t even o check on them. I would just be letting cold air in.

Any eggs are going to be cracked within seconds of being laid in these post global warming temps.
