Sushi in no way is like eggplant. My 16 year old daughter-at the time- made me try sushi and it was delicious.
Eggplant is from the night-shade family is it not? Explains everything to me...

My DIL made me try it. I choked some down. I did not care for it.

But I brought it back to their place and grilled it, she complained, but it was great grilled.
So I guess I like grilled sushi.

I tend to not care for sushi either. But to be honest, I've tried some I rather liked. Like eggplant, lots of folks like sushi down here. Not sure I understand what the big deal is....

I've tried sushi, it wasn't bad but I wouldn't go out to purposely buy it. I prefer my fish cooked.

Still ice on the lakes here. We had rain over night, now it's icing up. Cold today after beautiful yesterday with 57.

We have ice in the lakes but it has pulled away a fair distance from the shore.

Fugu makes no sense to me, eat a raw fish that might kill you. Then do it again and again.

It’s like Russian roulette with a loaded dead fish.
