I can’t find the one with the white egg hunt.

Morning People,

Only a trace of snow so far.

I am guessing the bees won’t be out today, but the blessing in this is it should keep most the mosquitoes away.

We got around 6" and while it's still coming down, It's a glittery snow globe faerie woodland kind of snow. I don't mind six inches of fluff so much. It was 16° first time I looked and we got up late at around 7. That kinda I definitely feel cranky about. Just after I gave in to my wannabe mama turkey and gave her all the day's eggs. She and the bourbon red were sitting on them when I brought out relief rations. I'm not sure how warm they could keep them though, with just a piece of plywood under them, then the frigid air. I keep putting hay in, but the eggs are always sitting on plywood.

Bourbon red hopped off to eat when I peeked in, but Narri stayed, hissing. BR had only 4-5 eggs, one of which looked like a chicken laid it. I will clear out unauthorized eggs later when the air thaws out a little.

They can keep the eggs warm just fine. It would be better if it wasn't a shared nest.

I can probably keep the bourbon red out of there. She's not as into it as the Narri. I think they're just buddies so she likes being there. I'll be moving the chickens out to pasture soon (hopefully, if it ever stops snowing long enough for grass to get a start).

Morning . Wind advisory here until 7PM . 20-30 steady with 50 MPH gusts . Had some much needed rain last night . 20 degrees colder for our high brr and with the wind .

So I had to go get bread . White pelicans on the river and in town magnolias and flowering pear blooming . My fruiting pears are not open yet but showing color on the flower buds .

I had to get daughters braces fixed in Duluth today and there was no snow, but the roads were dirty and everything is brown and muddy

It looks nice but it actually is cold outside about 30°F. It snowed for a few minutes but not much sure am glad about that!

Welcome Newbies. I'm just south and west of Deer River about 40 minutes. Ed I would have liked seeing those buff chanteclers. I still have one of Mike's partridge roos from TFred. He has one curled toe...but he is a nice boxy roo.
Sentry. TFred's kids named him and we like it too.
He's doing a heck of a job. He'll have the hawks to watch now for a while with the ducks nesting nearby. PITA time of year for him. But he has his cover spots he likes.

We are cold and dry with dustings here and there. I'm all for the dry right now. Last fall left us with a very high water table and the run off of over 3 feet of snow has went fairly well. But the last thing we need is more precip for now. With COVID not people are not seeing the flooding in the Red River Valley making news I guess.

I am trying to grow radishes indoors. I will see if it works.

Radishes will grow anywhere ralphie. But good luck to you yet. LOL.
