I have 6 EE chicks a few days old . My own eggs . Chilly cloudy day here . Had AC unit installed . Been out since last fall . None available then due to covid . DW is happy . Made a trip Monday to see our second Great Granddaughter . About 2 months old .

Lilacs are in full bloom . Fragrant . Also the invasive Autum or Russian olive in the woods are blooming and fragrant ,

My lilacs aren’t blooming yet. I can’t wait till they do. I love how they smell.
Today I’m finishing up filling the pool and getting it running. Hopefully without ruining anything. I feel like I’m on a streak of everything I touch goes wrong It’s not even noon and I’m feeling defeated....ugh.

My lilacs are barely leafed out. They are right outside my bedroom window, so when they’re blooming I open the windows wide and it smells so good in there!

I don’t think I have ever seen a honey suckle let alone smell one.

With the exception of these that grow wild in the woods, and taste good.

I have never seen them planted in a yard.
