Surviving Minnesota!

Yes when working that hive I must wear boots . I was putting a bee escape on the hive next to the mean one . Thought I could get away with it . No . So since they had already got me I looked in the mean hive . They really did a lot in September . All comb is drawn and filled . Lots of honey in this single brood box . I did not lift out any frames . Got out of there while the going was good .

I may have been gifted some of this precious honey.....I may have to think about getting into this bee keeping business. Now if only I knew of some wise elders who would be willing to teach me the ropes.
Ralphie can have an apprentice . I am too far away . I can share what I know .

In which case I will also sign my son up for this course. It should expedite things as those 2 tend to be very competitive.
Maybe you can get a hive from that Russian guy . Ralphie says they are very productive and gentle . I do not recommend package bees for a beginner . Get a hive and also put out a swarm trap . watch youtube videos on beekeeping .
