True, but I don’t have to cook all my own meals.

In exchange for this I simply put up with some nagging, complaining and little suggestions as to how to improve myself.

I do it all... and I don't have to do other people's...
The only times I wish someone else was here is when I'm sick and have a take care of poultry anyway. ... catching poultry might be easier with help.
...or I need a couple extra hands to move or build something too heavy for one old lady.... so I get creative with braces and bought a tractor with a bucket

I don't have to have full meals and don't need to be concerned about what someone else does or doesn't like.

The only time I need help to catch poultry is when the poultry are going to new homes. The new owners are always happy to assist.

I have hermit poultry, like their owner

My cousin comes by and wants to see the babies. Mass panic due to stranger danger from the broody raised and she doesn't even go in the poultry yard. The ones raised in a brooder are fine.. . and the jakes and toms come up to the fence intimidating her.

In my case me . Wife is no longer able . So I do it all . All the aggravation and none of the benefits .

So I bought a yellow jacket trap . Took a couple of days for them to find it . Works great Honey bees show no interest in it . Picked up a bucket of walnuts . Got bees wax rendering . Going to get hot today .
